Matt Berg, Matt Weisbarth, and Jerry Weitzman are thrilled to announce the launch of Cascade Venture Partners, which will invest in Databricks AI Accelerator selections and additional companies where we engage as active partners.

Collectively, our team offers more than 50 years of investing and operating experience, including early investments in category-defining companies such as OpenAI, Databricks, CoreWeave, Lambda, Groq, Ramp, and Anthropic. We look forward to continuing that track record in this next chapter.

Databricks Partnership

Databricks selected Cascade Venture Partners as 1 of its 10 VC launch partners alongside a16z, Benchmark, and NEA for their AI Accelerator Program. This partnership was facilitated by our venture partner Jerry Weitzman, Databricks' former SVP Sales Americas. The collaboration provides us with direct investment access to the companies admitted into Databricks’ accelerator cohort, while also deepening our strategic relationship with Databricks. Read More
